Pharmapad Carbon Silver is a thin dressing containing activated charcoal layer which is the ideal solution for malodorous wounds.

The wound contact layer is laminated with polyethylene net containing silver to provide antimicrobial effect.

Antimicrobial effect of silver reduces risk of infection
Absorbent nonwoven pad gives fast and controlled absorption of light exudates, constructed to avoid strike through.
Individually packed in a peel pouch and EO sterilized
Can be cut to size
Used only as primary dressing because polyethylene silver networks only in contact with wound exudates.

Shelf Life

- Pharmapad Carbon silver could be used as it is or cut to size.
- Applied directly to the wound surface and covered with a secondary dressing such as Protectfilm in case of light exudates or Pharma-Foam in case of moderate or heavy exudates. It can also be held in position with a tape of fixation bandage.
