Power of Salicylic acid in latex free rubbery matrix
Most wart removers in the market contain salicylic acid incorporated in natural rubber which may cause allergic reactions. Unlike rest of wart removers, Pharmaplast product contains salicylic acid, formulated in synthetic rubber, so the product is latex free and less likely to cause allergy.

Upon contact with skin, moisture aids release of salicylic acid from the rubbery matrix. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid. Its Keratolytic effect increases the cell-shedding rate of the epidermis. Salicylic acid treats warts by loosening the skin and breaking up the skin cells that form warts. This makes the warts considerably softer and easier to be removed with a file. This results in less friction and skin irritation.
